Yoakum High School
Yoakum High School
In 1937, Yoakum High School was built on property just outside the city limits.  It was the first building to house grades 9–12, and included an auditorium which is still used today. Other buildings have been added throughout the years and surroundings have changed, but a strong tradition remains. Yoakum High School strives for excellence, and students live up to the high expectations in both academics and athletics.
