Library Use Guidelines  

Hall Passes

When visiting the library without an instructor, students need a hall pass.

Checking Out Materials

Students must have their library card when checking out materials. Students may check out two items at a time. Books are loaned for a two week period. When re-checking materials, the items must be present.   Fines for late book returns are 5¢ per school day.  Fines must be cleared before more materials can be checked out from the library. Students are expected to pay in full for lost books or books damaged beyond repair. Refunds are made for lost books that are found.

Reference books and magazines are available for use in the library only.

Computer Use

Computers are available for school projects. Students must follow Yoakum I.S.D. policies at all times.

Students may print assignments in the library. The first two pages are free, additional pages are 5¢.
